Job Purpose

Your role as an Automotive Aftersales Consultant is to implement, configure, and support Dealer Management System solutions for automotive importers, dealer groups, and dealerships. The role combines business-process consultancy, project implementation, system configuration, customer training, testing, go-live support, and ongoing functional assistance across service, workshop, parts, warranty, invoicing, and associated aftersales solutions

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in customer discovery and requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Review after-sales (Parts and Service) processes and recommend practical improvements.
  • Translate customer requirements into practical system configurations and documented functional solutions.
  • Take ownership of assigned implementation workstreams from discovery through go-live and post-implementation support.
  • Prepare implementation plans and monitor assigned deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where necessary.
  • Configure and implement DMS aftersales functionality in accordance with agreed customer requirements.
  • Work with other functional and technical consultants where processes span aftersales, vehicle sales, finance, or third-party integrations.
  • Prepare configuration records, test scenarios, training materials, and handover documentation.
  • Prepare and support system testing, data validation, user acceptance testing, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
  • Deliver customer training and prepare supporting documentation.
  • Provide ongoing functional support to DMS users, investigating system, process, configuration, and data-related issues.
  • Record and manage support requests within the ticketing system.
  • Keep customers informed regarding the progress and resolution of implementation and support activities.
  • Escalate technical or development issues to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend training, process, or configuration improvements.
  • Maintain accurate project, support, configuration, and customer documentation.
  • Support internal knowledge-sharing and contribute to the continuous improvement of implementation and support practices.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience.

  • A degree or diploma in Business Management or Business Administration, Information Systems or Information Technology Supply Chain, Logistics or Inventory Management.
  • Experience within automotive aftersales or automotive business systems.
  • Good understanding of service, workshop, parts, warranty, and invoicing processes.
  • Experience using, implementing, or supporting a Dealer Management System.
  • Ability to understand, document, and improve end-to-end business processes.
  • Ability to translate operational requirements into system configuration and functional solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and task-ownership skills.
  • Ability to produce clear functional documentation, test scenarios, and training material.
  • Confidence delivering presentations, workshops, and training to different user groups.
  • Good customer-facing and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently while coordinating effectively with project and support teams.
  • Good written and spoken English.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience with Autoline, Keyloop, or another automotive DMS.
  • Previous experience in automotive operations, systems consultancy, or application support.
  • Willingness to travel and provide remote or on-site customer assistance when required.

Development & Competency Milestones

The successful candidate will follow a structured development plan covering the organisation’s core aftersales processes and solutions. Progress will be assessed through product knowledge, system configuration, process understanding, testing, documentation, customer training, support capability, and the ability to deliver assigned work independently.

  • We are flexible and can offer fully remote or hybrid work arrangements subject to the following conditions.

A) If you are a TCN/EU Citizen already based in Malta, then you must have worked in Malta for at least 2 years in a similar position and hold a valid working permit and passport.

B) If you are a TCN/EU Citizen not based in Malta, then you will be offered to work for us ONLY in a fully remote manner. No relocation is available.

  • On the job training would be provided.

Salary will be commensurate with experience, expertise and knowledge.
